MDM has put together an impressive mixed-media project which will debut at the Opal Gallery in Atlanta on Nov. 1st and run through Nov. 7th, included will be an Election Night Party. Also on Nov. 4th, a limited edition print will be released on 20×200 at 2 pm EST.
I missed this when I was browsing through the site the first time but it’s pretty interesting. I think it’s the type of work we’ll be seeing more of from photojournalists. They might not be able to capture enough killer images to make an essay, but when you use good editing, sound and timeliness you can convey a strong message with impact.
