Luca de Marchi was born in 1985 in a small town in north-eastern Italy, later moving to Trieste to complete his schooling. Luca showed no interest in photography until September 2007, when he came across a show by David Lachapelle, and decided to buy a camera. Straight away he began to take street shots, transforming the most normal street scenes into dry, sardonic images.
